While the news that Carole Baskin was going to be a contestant on the most recent season of ABC's hit reality show 'Dancing With The Stars' shocked, delighted, and puzzled fans, not everyone was thrilled to see the big cat rescuer on the show. During Netflix's hit documentary Tiger King, many questioned whether or not Baskin was involved in the disappearance and death of her former husband, Don Lewis. Some even outright accused the big cat rescuer of conspiring to have Lewis killed. While Baskin has long refuted any allegations and maintained she had nothing to do with her former husband's disappearance, it seems that Lewis's family isn't convinced.

During Monday night's telecast of DWTS in which Baskin danced to 'Eye of the Tiger,' a commercial featuring Lewis's three daughters Gale, Lynda, and Donna and former assistant Anne aired in Tampa and Jacksonville, as well as other markets, according to Variety. In the commercial, titled 'Justice for Don Lewis,' the women, who are joined by the family's attorney John M. Phillips ask the public for any information about their father's disappearance.

Lewis was 60 years old in August of 1997 when he disappeared without a trace. According to the documentary, Lewis was reportedly going on a trip to Costa Rica but disappeared before arriving. Although his van was found at a nearby airport, there was no sign of Lewis nor any proof he actually boarded any plane. During the Tiger King documentary, Joe Maldonado-Passage, otherwise known as Exotic Joe, accused Baskin of having Lewis killed and feeding his body to her big cats.

In the commercial that aired during DWTS, each of Lewis's daughters introduces themselves to the camera. "I'm Gale, one of Don Lewis' daughters. We are a real family and to us, he was daddy," Gale says first in the PSA. "I'm Lynda, one of Don Lewis' daughters, and we miss our dad," Lynda adds. Lewis's oldest daughter, Donna, is next to speak. "I'm Donna. I'm Don Lewis' oldest daughter. We need to know what happened to our father," she says. Lewis's former assistant, Anne, who also appeared in the Tiger King documentary is also featured in the commercial. "I'm Anne, Don's former assistant. All we're asking is justice for Don."

Attorney Phillips then speaks to the camera asking for anyone with any information to come forward. "Don Lewis mysteriously disappeared in 1997. His family deserves answers, they deserve justice. Do you know who did this or if Carole Baskin was involved?" The family is serious about finding information regarding Lewis's death and revealed that a $100,000 reward has been funded for the investigation.

Lewis was declared legally dead in 2002 and there have been no arrests in relation to his death since. Baskin has repeatedly declared her innocence, denying she had any involvement in his disappearance, but due to the popularity of Tiger King and the ensuing interest in Lewis's disappearance, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister reopened the case, telling PEOPLE he gets up to 6 tips a day. “I believe it was a homicide,” he told the magazine, adding that Baskin is “not a suspect at this time.” He added, “We don’t have any evidence to even call her a person of interest.”
