Candace Cameron Bure is opening up about a controversial picture she posted on Instagram, and how her marriage works. A marriage is hard work, and it takes a lot of commitment to get through. It takes communication, loyalty, kindness and love to go the distance and weather any storm. According to Candace Cameron Bure, it also takes a lot of intimacy and that is what she is most recently opening up about.
According to People, back in September, Candace posted a picture of her and her husband standing outside, and her husband had his hand on her breast. It is not often that we see Candace’s husband in pictures, so people had a lot to say about that.
Candace was criticized for posting this picture on social media, but she was quick to remind people that he is her husband and there is nothing wrong with this. She must have recently been reflecting on it once again, because she was back to talk about it on Confessions of a Crappy Christian podcast. She said that her husband does not appear on her Instagram very much, and the picture was a playful response to them taking some pictures together after a lunch out.
She said that she was questioned by Christians, who said that she needed to be modest and that it was inappropriate. She said that she and her husband are both Christians, and they are both proud that they have been together for 24 years, and the fact that they do have fun like this, and flirt, is part of what makes their marriage work.
She also spoke on intimacy between a married couple, and that (especially as a Christian, as many may not think) intimacy needs to be celebrated between couples because that is what happens when you get married.
She said that sex is the “blessing of marriage.” She also spoke about how she doesn’t feel people need to hide what they do or let people think that they were only intimate the amount of times they have children. She also said that intimacy was not easy for her in the beginning, even after she was married. She said it took her while to adjust her brain to know that she was allowed to do these things. Intimacy is a big part of a marriage, and it is nice to see celebrity couples flirting and still so much in love after so many years.
