While it was meant at the time as a way to help his daughter, it has never ended completely, and Britney is starting to fight back, according to Newsweek. Britney is now trying to fight back in court and regain control of her life. Britney has gone as far as to say that she will not perform as long as her father is her conservator, and she is afraid of him and his intentions.
The request to have Jamie removed is being heard today in court in Los Angeles, and Britney is saying that her father is not willing to share control over her money, which is in the $60 million range (thanks to him, he claims).
