Big Little Lies was a huge hit for HBO when the first season debuted in February of 2017. The mini-series, based on the Liane Moriarty best-seller of the same name, boasted an all-star cast including Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Zoe Kravitz, Laura Dern, and Shailene Woodley who find their friendship tested amid one very big little lie.

Due to the huge success of season one, HBO announced there would be a second season that picks up where the original book left off, and this time the talented Meryl Streep would be joining the cast. If you haven't had a chance to see season one, or if you'd like a refresher before season two of the show debuts on HBO on June 9, you're in luck. This weekend only, HBO is making season one of Big Little Lies free to stream on their YouTube channel whether you have an HBO subscription or not.

From May 10-12 you can stream all seven episodes of the first season online, with no additional subscription charges, proving it's the perfect weekend to binge watch your favorite Monterey Five ladies before we see what season two brings us. Season one of the series was such a huge hit, audiences couldn't wait for it to come back. The show was originally meant to be a one season, limited series, but it was so popular the creators brought knew they had to create a second season. David E. Kelley wrote the second season based on a follow-up story created by Moriarty herself. The show brought home eight Emmy awards after it's first season, logging nominations for four of the main actresses and a win for two; Kidman and Dern.

If you haven't yet had a chance to watch the first season now is your chance. HBO released the trailer for season two today and it's definitely looking like it's going to be as addictive and binge-worthy as season one. The Monterey Five are all dealing with their big little lies in different ways, and it will definitely be an interesting season to see how the story progresses. Season one of Big Little Lies is available to stream free on HBO's YouTube channel this weekend, May 10-12.
