There’s good news for moms and women wanting to look good this summer. There are new anti-chafing bands that provide a glamorous new solution for thigh chafing. Called the Bandelettes, the bands can be worn to help fight uncomfortable chafing - without the extra layer of clothing - while you are out and about this summer.
Now that the summer months are upon us and moms are wearing lighter clothes, sun dresses and so on, many often deal with unpleasant chafing and discomfort. Regardless of what your weight may be, many women find that their thighs rub together because of the heat, humidity and sweat. It’s also a common skin problem caused by any combination of friction, moisture, and irritating fabric.
Thankfully, there’s a new solution to help solve this reoccurring problem with the anti-chaffing Bandelettes. These thigh bands fit between your thighs to help prevent any rubbing between the skin. Bandelettes have received mostly positive reviews on Amazon. The Bandelettes work well because they can easily be worn underneath a pair of shorts or sundress. They come in a variety of colors and styles, including soft elastic and pretty lace, and retail for $16.95 to $18.95 both on the company's website and Amazon.

If you are looking for other treatments or for solutions to help alleviate chafing, try applying a soothing lotion, balm, or oil. Also look for fragrance-free productions that repel moisture.
In addition to Bandelettes, there’s also a For Her anti-chafe moisturizing balm. All you need to do is swipe between your thighs or under your bra, or wherever your skin might be sensitive and prone to rubbing.
Keep in mind that chafing also breaks the skin’s protective barrier against germs and infection. If you see any signs of bleeding, discoloration, swelling or crust, seek medical attention immediately, especially if the chafing goes beyond the redness of chapped skin.
Also, don’t forget to gently let in fresh air between your thighs or use a topical steroid, prescribed by your health care professional. In most cases chafing can heal within a couple of days. In addition, let your skin heal overnight by leaving the area exposed to air while you sleep.
