If your children aren't fully obsessed with PinkFong's Baby Shark yet, there's a new product that's about to be released that is sure to have your toddler humming along to the familiar tune. Baby Shark hasn't just become the earworm that adults and children alike can't stop singing, but it's also taking over the children's merchandise world, one product at a time. Fans of the adorable shark family can purchase Fingerlings and plush puppets, Play-Doh kits, and even a Baby Shark cereal, and soon Baby Shark will be able to help teach toddlers all about their shapes.
Shape sorters have been around forever, but now WowWee is putting the Baby Shark spin on theirs and releasing their very own educational toy your toddler will love. The Baby Shark Melody shape sorter is shaped like a submarine and will play a selection from the infamous Baby Shark song when your child places an individual shape in the correct spot.
Once your child places all the shapes correctly the shape sorter will play the full-length song! You can also put the toy on shape mode where each individual character featured on that shape will congratulate the child when they place it correctly. Once all the shapes are in their correct spot, Baby Shark will personally congratulate your child!
Not only is this a fun way for your child to learn their shapes, but, as the website states, "it's a fun and interactive way to develop your toddler's gross motor and sensory skills."
The Baby Shark Melody Shape Sorter isn't available until October and seems like it would be the perfect toy to pick up for a Christmas or Hannukah gift. You can purchase your own shape sorter at Walmart, Amazon, Target and Buy Buy Baby as soon as it's released.
Baby Shark isn't just taking over on the toy shelves either. Fans of the shark family can now see them live, on tour when the Baby Shark Live! tour comes to a city near you. It may seem like the Baby Shark phenomenon is never going to go away, but at least the song is fun and catchy and the toys are educational, making it fun for the entire family.
