On Monday, beloved Bravo talk show host, Andy Cohen, announced the birth of his son via surrogate. After his announcement of being on the journey to become a new father back in December, we have all waited in anticipation to hear more details. Up until this point though, his lips had been pretty much sealed.

On January 26th, all of Cohen's Real Housewives friends showed up to shower him with gifts and excitement to celebrate the dad to be. All of the aired on Radio Andy, Andy's Baby Shower episode.

Of course, they were trying to squeeze out details, too, especially Ramona Singer who bluntly asked him about plans for the baby boys' name.

Cohen shared that he did have it already chosen at that point, but he still wasn't sharing. Ramona, of course, was not amused by that news. However, he did share that it was a classic name and that it was a family name.

"It's just a classic name," he confirmed. "But the truth is, I always knew if I had a son, this will be his name." Seriously the cutest!

As we now know, Cohen welcomed his baby boy earlier this week and the Instagram announcement took the baby name suspense away when he shared the classic and family name.

"WOW! This is my son," he writes on the Instagram caption. "Benjamin Allen Cohen. He is

9 lbs 2 ounces !! 20 inches !! Born at 6:35 pm, PT," the star continues.

According to his announcement, his baby was named after his grandfather, who was also named Ben Allen.

"I’m in love. And speechless. And eternally grateful to an incredible surrogate. And I’m a dad. Wow," the new dad writes.

Cohen announced in December that he was expecting his first child.

"Family means everything to me, and having one of my own is something I've wanted in my heart for my entire life," Cohen said during the announcement. "And though it's taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet."

According to Entertainment Tonight, Cohen is single and he used a surrogate, who he said was "wonderful" to grow his family.

We are so excited for him!
