Amy Schumer has only been a mom for a hot minute and she's already been welcomed into the world of mom-shaming! Any mother knows all about mom-shaming from the sanctimommies on the internet and real life who love to tell them all the things they're doing wrong and how they can be a better mother. Celebrity mothers are often mom-shamed the most because they are so public and often share intimate pictures of their family online for fans.

Amy Schumer may have only been a mom for just over two weeks now but she's already letting mom-shamers know they're wasting their breath. Schumer, who welcomed her son Gene Attell Fischer on May 5th, returned to the stand-up stage on May 21 for a set at the Manhattan comedy club the Comedy Cellar. The comedian posted a picture on Instagram captioned "I'm back!" and was met with comments from many people who were shocked she returned to work so quickly after welcoming her first child.

"Already???? That’s insane!!! And inhumane. Contract or not you need to be allowed at least 6 weeks for maternity," wrote one person in the comment section. "Like, I can still smell your placenta...take a damn break ffs," wrote another.

Many others pointed out the hypocrisy of men returning to work within days of having children but criticizing women who choose to do the same. "Amy Schumer goes back to work around 20 days after giving birth and people make uproar, Prince Harry left his like three day old son to tour in pro of something and no one bats an eye," pointed out one commenter.

Many supported the funny mummy and her recent show, writing, "You are a rock star. I bet it felt amazing to be back up there," and "That’s incredible. Good on you! Positive vibes to you and your family. Keep it up!" One commenter couldn't help but point out that Schumer can still do her job even though she recently had a child. "Y’all. She told jokes. She didn’t wrestle an alligator. Chill. My least favorite thing about being a mom is other moms. Mind yo business!!!"

While Schumer didn't mention any comments in particular, she did post a follow-up photo that showed her wearing her breast pump bra while sitting on the side of her bed in her underwear and captioned the pic, "Sending out love to the moms shaming me for doing standup last night!."

Schumer suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, or extreme morning sickness, during her pregnancy with Gene but thankfully she had her famous friends come to her defense on social media.

"Who the fudge would Shame a mom for doing what she does ? And how the hell did you do it? #shumerwoman" wrote Selma Blair. Aidy Bryant wrote, "What’s the big deal? Just let me try some," while Demi Lovato told the comedian she was a "rockstar." Will & Grace star Debra Messing chimed in writing, "You are a GODDESS," while Judd Apatow commented "Rock on!"

Thankfully the new mom has a sense of humor about it all because the mommy-shaming is definitely going to get worse.
