Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood is in legal trouble once again. TMZ is reporting that the reality star and mother of two was arrested in Indianapolis this morning, just before 6:00 AM. Portwood has been charged with domestic battery, although police aren't releasing any further information about the charge, including who the alleged victim is.

A clerk at the Initial Hearing Court in Indianapolis told RadarOnline that the reality star was arrested on June 5th and is still being processed. "She’s not done with processing," the clerk stated. "She’s at intake right now."

This isn't Portwood's first brush with the law. She previously served 17 months in jail on drug charges, and in 2010 she was also arrested on charges of domestic violence after a fight with her ex, Gary Shirley. Portwood and Shirley share daughter Leah and their early relationship was documented on the MTV reality show 16 and Pregnant before Portwood joined the cast of Teen Mom OG.

Fans of the show have been witness to Portwood's anger and have often seen her lash out verbally and physically at Shirley. In 2017 she revealed on an episode of Teen Mom OG that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. She began dating Matt Baier in 2014 and their sometimes volatile relationship was also documented on the MTV reality series. While filming Marriage Boot Camp, Portwood met Andrew Glennon who was working on the series. She and Baier broke up in 2017 and she began dating Glennon shortly after.

The couple welcomed their first child together, James, in May of 2018 and Portwood has been open about her mental health struggles since welcoming her second child. In the Teen Mom OG reunion episode, she explained that she was feeling suicidal and announced she was leaving the show.

“I started feeling this weird pressure that I was going to explode,” she said. “There was a night in California where I said [to Andrew] go to sleep. Take James with you. I was going to hang myself.” The reality star said she was having a hard time dealing with how the show was editing her and with online bullies who criticized her parenting online.

Still, just over a month ago she gushed to Us Weekly about Glennon and how he was her soulmate, even admitting they may have another child together. "I don’t see anybody else I could even, like, mesh with after him," Portwood said. "I might have another kid with him."
