Sometimes, the hardest people to shop for are the ones who you're closest to, right? When your best friend or partner has a birthday coming up, it's not always easy to come up with the perfect gift or activity or birthday celebration! This can be especially true as we get older - we're adults, with jobs and our own money, and when we want something for ourselves, we usually just buy it when we can. So when birthdays for special people roll around, sometimes we need to think out of the box to make the occasion a day to remember. Or rather, sometimes we need to think ... about the box. A woman in North Carolina shared a picture of the absolutely perfect birthday cake her husband ordered for her, and every single Amazon-lover out there will want a cake just like this for themselves. Good job, hubby!

Emily McGuire, a photographer and mother of three, really loves Amazon. Like, REALLY loves it. A lot of us can relate, right? Those little cardboard boxes with the black Amazon tape are a regular occurrence at our house - it's actually weird if there isn't one on the porch when we get home everyday! So when Emily's birthday came around, her husband Mac decided to order her a very specific cake, one she would recognize and love immediately. He enlisted the help of Inspiring Grounds and Sweet Dreams Bakery in Dunn, North Carolina. And this bakery nailed every single aspect of the cake, from the Amazon tape to the shipping label. Instead of a real address, the cake is addressed to Emily McGuire at 1234 Birthday Lane, in Happy Birthday, 2U.

Emily couldn't have been happier with her special cake, and said that when she saw it she felt very understood, LOL. Meanwhile, the bakery shared the creation on their own Facebook page and have since been inundated with requests from other people for their very own Amazon box cake. See? This just goes to show you - it's not the size of the box, but what's inside! And when what's inside is layered chocolate cake, well, it just doesn't get much better than that.
