For some reason, the public may feel like they are entitled to information about celebrities. Probably because they are in such a public position, that we normally do get to find out a lot about them. This is usually not to their agreement. A lot of celebrities try and live as private a life as they can, and this includes singer Adele.
Adele may be one of the biggest superstars in the world, but she works hard to keep her private life under wraps. She has been very protective of her son, Angelo, and there are very little posts about him on her social media accounts. This is normal, as a lot of celebrities try and shield their children from the crazy world that is reporters and paparazzi. It’s a good thing her songs are so touching and personal because that may be the only way we find out anything about her.
What she is also keeping secret is her divorce. Adele and Simon Konecki have been separated for a year, but it seems the divorce is about to be official. Adele had already requested that the details of the $171 million divorce, private from the rest of the world. She had requested it of the courts, and it looks like it is being granted. A court in Los Angeles has granted her wish to keep all details of her divorce secret.
The two do share custody of their 7-year-old son and this is set to continue. That is about the only piece of information about the separation that we have been granted. The reason for this to be kept on the down low? Divorces that happen in Hollywood can tend to drag on for years and can become ugly. Mostly due to all the media attention they get at such a private time. This is in an attempt to avoid all of that.
A statement was made that said, “They are both committed to keeping the details as private as possible for the sake of their son. They are trying to work on their issues. She talks about last year as a very difficult year, and she’s said in the past that creating new music is almost like therapy.” It looks like we can expect some great music from the songstress soon.
