We're just a few short days away from the November 1 launch of Apple's new streaming service, Apple TV +, which means we now have more streaming options than ever before to choose from. While it would be great to subscribe to all the streaming services available, that can get a bit expensive, so it's important to weigh the programming options. While Disney Plus is set to premiere on November 12 and is expected to be a hit with many parents, Apple TV Plus has also revealed some of their original programmings and there are definitely some new shows that will appeal to parents and children alike.

Parents who were fans of the 90's show Ghostwriter will be pleased to hear that Apple TV+ has rebooted the show for today's generation. According to the press release "Ghostwriter, a reinvention of the beloved original series follows four kids who are brought together by a mysterious ghost in a neighborhood bookstore and must team up to release fictional characters from works of literature."

Helpsters is also an Apple original designed for preschoolers and created by the makers of Sesame Street. The show features vibrant monsters and people puppets who work together to help solve a variety of problems. The show, like Sesame Street, combines the puppets with actual sets and real-world locations that any child will be sure to love. The Helpsters will tackle party planning, mountain climbing and even mastering a magic trick. It sounds like the perfect show for the inquisitive and curious child.

Snoopy is also coming back to your television with the series Snoopy in Space, 50 years after the original moon landing. “Snoopy in Space follows Snoopy as his dreams of being an astronaut become a reality when he and Woodstock tag along with the Peanuts gang on a field trip to NASA and are chosen for an elite mission into space. As Snoopy and Woodstock fulfill their dreams of astronaut training and space travel, Charlie Brown and the gang assist their friends from mission control.”

There are definitely a variety of new options in streaming services for parents to choose from, so it's smart that Apple TV+ is introducing some pretty amazing looking Apple original children's programming. Parents can also look forward to streaming original programming like The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carrell, Oprah's Book Club, and See starring Jason Momoa that will be available when the streaming service launches, and even more exciting programs that are in development.
