Like any kid who grew up in the '90s, I was a huge Britney Spears fan. I enjoyed her hit songs "...Baby One More Time" and "Lucky" and sang along, imagining that someday I would be a famous pop singer like her (like a lot of little girls do, of course). I think this is just about the coolest thing that I've ever heard, especially since I struggled with Math as a kid (and as a teenager, too). Major props to Britney for being such a committed mom.

Britney Spears rewards her sons for doing their homework. InStyle quoted her as saying, "We have a reward system that helps motivate them: if they get so many As, they get one toy a month."
Every mom does something different when it comes to inspiring their kids to work hard, but this sounds like a pretty good idea. When we think about it, we give ourselves treats and rewards for a job well done, like ordering in our favorite take-out, so this strategy definitely works for kids, too. I would have loved to get toys (or books) for doing homework. It sounds so nice.

When I think about Britney Spears, I think about a very famous singer who also seems to have gotten out of the spotlight a bit in the past decade or so. Dealing with the press and having your photo taken all the time is definitely one reason why I'm glad I'm not famous.
A photo of Britney with her two kids was described by Hello magazine as a "rare picture" so it seems like they aren't in the spotlight as much as some other famous families. This is awesome and makes any photo that we get to see of the pop star mom and her two sons even more special.

How many of us can say that our moms would have been cool with us having blue hair... or pink or green hair, for that matter? I thought that it was super great when my mom let me have some blonde highlights for my 13th birthday, but blue hair might have been a bit of a stretch. It looks great on Brit and her son, though, and many of us are probably thinking that they should have kept their locks like this a little bit longer.

These days, Britney Spears has a Vegas residency and that seems to be the main place where she is performing. Even though she's doing this, though, she's still a full-time mom.

It's so cool that they almost share the same birthday and this is yet another reason that they seem like such an awesome family. I've always been a big fan of Britney and know that learning about her amazing mom skills brings a big smile to my face. How sweet is this family?!
