The timeline of Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's marriage is swoon-worthy, to say the least. Reports of their flirting at a Golden Globes afterparty surfaced in January of 2007, and soon after, the two went public with their relationship. As a couple, they traveled the world and merged their puppy families. That's why their momentary split in 2011 came as such a surprise.

Fans had given up hope that love exists, but not to worry, it didn't last long. Justin and Jessica were back on months later! As the couple rang in the New Year together, Justin got down on one knee and proposed.

Obviously, she said yes. Fast forward to 2018 when Jessica and Justin now are loving parents to their three-year-old son, Silas, who may be the most adorable thing we've ever seen. To celebrate love and being in love, we're looking back at the 18 times Jessica was ultimate mom goals and the seven times Justin outshined her in the parenting department.

Prepare to melt over their family bond and, at times, overly candid interviews about dirty diapers and eating in the shower. We love Jessica and Justin because they seem to relatable!

First, here are 18 things we love about Jessica...

25 She Is A Selfless Mom

Jessica? Selfish? Yeah, right. This mom appreciates and practices selflessness on a daily basis with son Silas (now aged three). In a Mother's Day post on Instagram, Jessica endlessly thanked her mother for her ultimate patience, understanding, and sacrifice before relating those same experiences to her own life.

"It took me almost thirty years to truly understand everything you sacrificed for me," she wrote, "I am in awe of your wisdom and grace, and I hope I can emulate those ideals with my own child."

24 She Speaks Honestly About Parenting

Parenting isn't all rainbows and butterflies. In a candid interview, Jessica opened up about her struggle to be a selfless mother and what a humbling experience it was to address her faults.

You think you’re a selfless person, and then you realize you’re not. These little people come around, and they require so much, and your schedule is really not your own, nor is it important anymore, and it’s very clear that your life is now revolving around this dude.”

Preach, Jessica!

23 She Baked SuperBowl Cookies For The Fam

As a restaurant owner, we're going to guess that one of Jessica's biggest passions in life is food and cooking for her family. For many Americans, SuperBowl Sunday is a time to get together with loved ones, drink, eat, and be merry. It's like Christmas and Thanksgiving combined for sports fans.

Jessica baked chocolate football-shaped cookies last year with white icing as the shoelaces -- yummy!

We think she rooted for the New England Patriots as her hat was blue. The Eagles won, though.

22 She Fully Embraces Her Flaws

Time management skills are a blessing, especially in motherhood.

Even though she's working less, Jessica admitted to having a hard time balancing her career and home life.

Can't we all relate? "That is what happens when you are a mom or a dad. You make food, they eat what they eat, and you literally ― as they are running off trying to grab something ― you are shoveling the last few bites off of their plate. And that is your lunch," she said.

21 She Avoided An Over-The-Top Baby Name

If you're into pop culture, you've probably noticed Hollywood is buzzing with crazy unique baby names. Gwyneth Paltrow named her girl Apple, Kim Kardashian went with North for her firstborn, and then there's Beyonce who came up with Blue Ivy. It's like celebrities are trying to out-do each other. Jessica, on the other hand, has no interest in that trend. "If I got a dollar every time someone told me to name my future kid 'Batmo' I'd almost have enough to pay for therapy for a kid named Batmo.”

20 She Appreciates The Small Things In Life

With a three-year-old son, a career, a husband, and a social life, there's hardly any room for breaks and pauses. Fortunately, Jessica has found a way to appreciate the small things in life, like looking down at her baby while he sleeps for a moment of peace and quiet. "Just a gummy mouth, no teeth, just a big smile, happy that you’re alive and you’re just looking at him. That’s probably the most magical...but you quickly move on from it because there is a dirty diaper in your palm."

19 She Paid Respect To Her Mom

Is motherhood a learned skill? Or is it something we're born with? Many times women pick up parenting skills from their mother, who adopted it from their mother, and so on. Sometimes we forget to pay respect to the people who raised us -- but not Jessica. She paid the greatest respect to her mother on Mother's Day and treated her to a girl's night out. The two sipped drinks over lunch at a cute cafe in Los Angeles and smiled for a selfie.

18 She Doesn't Believe In Gender Roles

Raising children in a genderless world is becoming the new norm. No longer are parents associating dolls with girls and trucks with boys -- it's all interchangeable!

Girls can wear blue, boys can wear pink. It's no big deal in the Biel and Timberlake residence.

Jessica doesn't believe in gender roles and allows Silas the freedom to choose his own toys, clothes, and hobbies (within reason, of course). Jessica was raised in a similar, gender-fluid manner as her mother was a "hippie."

17 She Cooks A Delicious Thanksgiving Dinner

Dear Jessica, invite us over for Thanksgiving next year. Please and thank you. Seriously, this woman can cook! Her Instagram page is packed with delicious food during the holidays. For Thanksgiving this past year, she baked not one, not two, not three, but FOUR pies from scratch. One of them was definitely pecan pie, followed by cranberry, and one with a mountain of whipped cream on top. "I hope you all enjoy your food coma naps and family time today. Happy Thanksgiving!"

16 She Had The Cutest Pregnancy Style

If you got it, flaunt it! That's exactly what Jessica did when her baby bump came in. Her pregnancy style was the epitome of cute-meets-casual. Instead of pressuring herself to fit into high heels and tight dresses, Jessica embraced the low-key Southern California vibe with jeans, flannel shirts, boots, flowing skirts, and sweatpants. She stayed away from the red carpet for the most part and instead treated herself to outdoor walks to squeeze in some daily exercise.

Jessica loves staying active!

15 She's Hands-On As Much As Possible

Jessica is so hands-on with her son Silas that she barely has time to eat. She shared the most relatable (and hilarious) moment on Instagram a few months back, posting a photo of an empty plate in the shower. Now that's what we call multi-tasking! “This is just the mom life,” she captioned the photo. “I don’t know if anybody else does this. I do not have time for anything. I’m feeding him in the morning, trying to get ready and I realize I haven’t eaten. I just take it into the shower.

14 She Keeps Babysitting In The Family

When asked about her greatest parenting hack, Jessica had the simplest one-word answer: Grandma. "The hack we use now [is] Grandma," she shared with ET back in May of 2016.

Whenever the actress and hubby Justin Timberlake need a breather, or even a romantic date night away from Silas, they call Grandma.

There's a lot to be said about parents who keep babysitting in the family instead of inviting over a stranger who may or may not get along with the child.

13 She Made Halloween Dreams Come True

This picture is everything. For Halloween last year, Jessica dressed up as Jessie from Toy Story 2 with Justin as Buzz Lightyear and little Silas as an adorable cowboy. Family goals, right? We love Jessica's ability to let loose, have fun, and never take herself too seriously. Halloween is hardly ever about the parent and all about the child. It's a chance for kids to explore their creativity with costumes and eat candy until their stomachs turn. It'd be a shame to miss out on this tradition.

12 She Makes Kids A Part Of Her Business

Most of us know Jessica as an actress. She starred in The Illusionist, Total Recall, Valentine's Day, and how can we forget 7th Heaven. What you may not know is that Jessica also owns a restaurant in Los Angeles called Au Fudge, complete with a California-meets-France menu and a kid's playroom in the back. Jessica loves kids so much that she literally made them part of her business.

Au Fudge is a place where mothers can relax and have a drink while knowing their child is being safely monitored in the next room.

11 She Found Her Own Parenting Style

We mentioned earlier that Jessica's mom was a hippie with her own set of morals and values. She was carefree to the point of allowing baby Jessica to rip the heads off Barbie dolls and hang them on a string as a form of art. Jessica adds,

"We weren't allowed sugar cereal. We weren't allowed processed foods-except Van de Kamp's fish sticks. We never locked the front door.”

Now that she's a parent, Jessica's switching things up at home for Silas and crafting her own parenting style. There's no "right" way to parent.

10 She Puts Motherhood Before Her Career

Come back to the silver screen, Jessica, we miss you! This may be bittersweet to hear, but Jessica's movie career might be done and out.

She's still accepting smaller TV roles, though! It's become clear that Jessica prioritizes motherhood over career and being the greatest parent possible.

The last big project she starred in was action flick Total Recall with Colin Farrell in 2012. Jessica also has Au Fudge to run. Maybe when Silas gets older she'll return to making movies.

9 She Keeps Silas Active And Outdoorsy

Not only is Jessica #momgoals, but she's also #bodygoals, too! Jessica makes sure to eat clean and work out to maintain a healthy lifestyle. In fact, she recently collaborated with yoga brand Gaiam to release her own line of fitness gear. She shared the news on Instagram, writing, "My line with @gaiam has launched! I’m so proud of it and can’t wait for you all to try it."

Her active lifestyle and outdoorsy personality are rubbing off on Silas as well.

8 She Teaches Silas Confidence

Just because Jessica looks flawless on the red carpet doesn't mean her life is always perfect. Don't believe us? Here's what she said about the insecurities that come with being a celebrity and living in LA.

"For a very long time, I wasn't thought of as anyone with any credibility in the film world. Everybody is tramping through the swamp every day in this business."

Jessica's confidence gradually increased to the point where she didn't need or want validation, and now, she's passing on that same perspective to Silas.

And now for the 7 times Justin raised the bar...

7 He Took The Fam On Tour

Imagine being married to a pop star. Justin went from being every teenager's crush in *NSync to every woman's dream come true as a solo artist. Many millennials grew up with his music and can sing every word to "Bye Bye Bye" and "I Want You Back." One of the perks of being a pop star is traveling the world on tour. And guess what? Jessica and Silas went with him! The trio packed their bags, boarded a private plane, and jetted off!

6 He Brought Silas Into The Recording Studio

BRB, currently driving to the hospital because our hearts can't take this. Justin became ultimate #dadgoals when he brought Silas into the recording studio to sing and meet his production crew.

Try to name a cuter father-son moment.

Go on, we'll wait. There isn't one, is there? Silas was treated with his own mini microphone, headphones, and endless attention from the backup singers. The look Justin is giving Silas in this picture is making us tear up. It's like you can feel the love through the screen!
