No more 2018 babies! Another year is inching to a close, which means that all the most recent pregnancy announcements are going to be for babies due in the New Year. With our favorite celebrities especially, it’s particularly exciting to hear about all the recent baby news. It’s even more special when it’s a couple that no one thought would make it past their days on reality TV or who had previous misfortune in love.
While many of the celebs expecting babies in 2019 are growing their already large families with the newest additions, there are a few other celebs who are having a baby for the very first time! Not all of the ones who already have a kid or two have revealed the gender of the newest bundle of joy yet but for those who have, it’s notably fun to find out they’re having a girl when they already have two boys or vice versa.
But as we celebrate the incoming 2019 babies, we still want to pay tribute to some of the last 2018 celeb babies, so we have included 3 of those as well! Those mommies are getting ready to pop and with how babies don’t always come as planned, one of them might just make it to the New Year. But does she want to?
20 Troian Bellisario & Patrick J. Adams - Pretty Little Liar
Troian Bellisario’s due date has been a widely speculated media frenzy but as Hollywood Life pointed out, she “may be welcoming her first child into the world much sooner than we were expecting!”
It looks like her time on Pretty Little Liars has definitely rubbed off on her own private life as she has remained hush-hush about the pregnancy the entire time thus far. However, Patrick J. Adams’ departure from Suits does make a little more sense now.
“I think we’ve all known for a bit,” also admitted her former co-star Lucy Hale. “I’m really happy for her.”
So whether in 2019 or possibly a little earlier, there’s no denying her pregnancy any longer as she has been photographed a few times already with a clear bun in the oven.
19 Conor Mcgregor & Dee Devlin - Big News For His 3-0
There certainly hasn’t been a lack of excitement in Conor McGregor’s life for the past couple of years. From his highly controversial MMA matches, all the way to all his glorious trash talking… he has certainly made quite the name for himself. MMA --and boxing aside--, his personal life has also been brimming with excitement since 2017.
He welcomed his first son Conor Jack McGregor Jr. in May 2017 and is now expecting a second baby but no news on the gender yet. Amidst all this, he also turned 30 this summer!
As IrishMirror.ie pointed out, fans were actually the first to notice Dee’s baby bump this time around, asking on Instagram if there was a “new baby on the way,” which sure enough there is!
18 Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher - #2 After Two Years Of Loss
To say that Carrie Underwood has had a tumultuous couple of years is putting it mildly. On top of the freak accident that she went through –and luckily still looks just as pretty as before—she opened up to CBS Sunday Morning to reveal that prior to getting pregnant a third time, she went through three miscarriages in the last two years.
“I’d kind of planned that 2017 was, you know, going to be the year that I work on new music, and I have a baby,” she said.
The struggle to have a baby left her feeling wonders, “Why on Earth do I keep getting pregnant if I can’t have a kid? Like, what is this? Shut the door. Like, do something. Either shut the door or let me have a kid,” according to People.
Luckily, all’s well and baby #2 is on his or her way!
17 Kate Upton & Justin Verlander - #1 Incoming
What better way to announce an upcoming pregnancy than in a magnificent red pantsuit and the simple caption? “#PregnantinMiami @justinverlander 🌞❤️" wrote Kate on her Instagram.
And that’s exactly what model Kate Upton did back in July. Simple, yet with style! Among the slew of congratulatory comments to her pic, the one from her fiancé Justin Verlander is the one that stood out the most.
CNN reported that he wrote, “You're going to be the most amazing Mom!! I can't wait to start this new journey with you! You're the most thoughtful, loving, caring, and strong woman I've ever met! I'm so proud that our little one is going to be raised in this world by a woman like you! I love you so much."
16 Porsha Williams & Dannis McKinley - Did She Reveal The Gender?
Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams is pregnant with her first baby and she may have inadvertently let slip the gender!
It’s only on September 19th that she revealed her pregnancy and since then, she has already opened up about the tribulations she has been through the past couple of years.
She revealed to People that she experienced a miscarriage six years year ago, which left her wondering if she will ever be able to conceive again, especially amidst having to get a myomectomy as well as enduring fibroids.
But as E News pointed out, she may have also let slip the gender already with a comment she left on Ming Lee’s Instagram post: “Omg I wish my baby was out !! I would have her right there getting done up lol”
15 Catelynn Lowell & Tyler Baltierra - A Little Rainbow Baby
“Is Catelynn Lowell Pregnant?” is a question that came up a lot towards the end of August and as it turns out, the answer is yes!
In fact, she told US Magazine that although she is nervous about going through another pregnancy after going through severe depression with her first one, she’s remaining positive about this one.
“I’m not gonna let that hold me back from the one of the most beautiful things in life, which is children,” Catelynn opened up to US Magazine. “I just have to continue therapy and work through it.”
“The big news is that we are expecting our rainbow baby. This baby is our rainbow after the storm. I’m super excited,” she initially revealed on Instagram.
14 Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson - #3 On The Way
Surprise! Looks like these boots are made for carrying lots of baby weight as Jessica Simpson is pregnant with lucky #3.
As with her previous pregnancies, Jessica has already fully embraced her bump and showed it off at LAX. This mama’s maternity style is always on point and she certainly isn’t disappointing fans now. But that wasn’t the way she chose to make her baby announcement… fortunately.
A couple of days prior to getting snapped by photogs at the airport, Jessica posted a picture on Instagram of her kids unveiling pink balloons with the caption, “This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”
Given that she has already found out the gender, her little baby girl should be due around January 2019.
13 Nev Schulman & Laura Perlongo - A Second Fish
“WE GOT A BUN IN THE OVEN! see you in January lil’ guy 👨👩👦👦 ,” wrote Nev in accompaniment to an Instagram picture he posted on August 15.
Cute! They already have a girl, Cleo, who is going to be turning 2 years old around the same time of the second baby’s due date, so how crazy would it be for them to share a birthday?
It’s an exciting time for the Catfish host and his wife Laura, especially since they just recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary. Like most couples, they appear to have their ups and downs but as Laura wrote in an Instagram post, as per US Magazine: “Also apparently I never shut cupboards and always forget to put the scissors back. Nev is always moving my stuff and never giving me enough time to get ready. And it all makes me furious but MY GOD I LOVE IT. My heart is so full.”
12 Jessica Graf & Cody Nickson - 5th Big Brother Baby
There’s nothing like meeting your true match on a 24/7 reality TV show and surprisingly, that’s exactly what happened to Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson. Fans may have had their doubts about their relationship, especially after Jessica was evicted from the house in season 19 way before Cody and yet, she stayed true to her word and kept on supporting him. Neither of them won the season but they certainly won in a different way…
They won in love and subsequently didn’t let the stresses of The Amazing Race 30 wear them down either, going on to secure a $1 million grand prize.
Since their big win, they got engaged and have just recently announced a baby on the way too. “WE’RE PREGNANT!” she wrote in an Instagram post. “And I’m over the moon! [...] We’re honored to be adding the FIFTH Big Brother baby to the world!”

Although fans were quite shocked to hear about Robin Thicke and Paula Patton’s split in 2015, it does appear to have all worked out for the best as he’s going to be a dad again.
On August 21st, Robin’s girlfriend April Love Geary posted a super cute video of their 6-month-old daughter playing with a sonogram picture and the caption that read, “Well someone is going to be a big sister next year! We’re so excited to share with y’all that I’m expecting again!”
Cute, but cringy as we wouldn’t want those pics to get ruined! As for the gender, they were quick to reveal they are having a second girl.

Not only is 37-year-old singer Rachel Platten pregnant with her first baby, but she also quickly found herself getting body shamed upon first revealing it!
After making her pregnancy announcement, she followed up with a scowling picture of herself, detailing how although she cried for 30 minutes because of an old acquaintance's rude comments: “wow your hips and butt look way bigger!”

So apparently, reality TV is the best way to meet the love of your life and start a family life. Not only are Jessica and Cody from Big Brother expecting a baby but so are Mike and Aziza Eloshway from the first season of 90 Day Fiancé – imagine that!
The couple, who met online, recently posted pics on Instagram announcing the happy news. Without going into too many details like most celebs, they simply wrote in the caption: "Mom&Dad❤️2019👨👩👧"
Even more curious is the fact that they aren't the first ones from the show to get pregnant. Earlier this year, Paola and Russ Mayfield also announced they were expecting their first child together, as per People.
All things considered, it’s always nice to see couples actually make it work in real life once filming has wrapped up! Maybe if they pop out more than 10 kids, they can secure for themselves a Kate & Gosselin show of their own.
7 Bekah Martinez & Grayston Leonard - When Life Hands You Lemons
Remember when Bekah Martinez tried her hand at securing Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s heart on the 22nd season of The Bachelor this year? She failed but the good news is that she totally used the rejection to meet the man of her dream. In fact, things worked out so well for her that she found out she is expecting a little bundle of joy just seven months into her relationship with boyfriend Grayston Leonard.
As of the beginning of September, she was already 20 weeks along with a first trimester that “was a little rough,” according to E Online. And although her pregnancy wasn’t planned, "It's going by so fast!" she said. "I'm feeling super energized."
6 Ashley Petta & Anthony D'Amico - Baby At First Sight
While we're on the reality TV tangent, there's another couple we need to cover! If you followed Married at First Sight, then you’ll be happy to know that things are working out in the love department for happy couple Ashley Petta and Anthony D’Amico.
So much so, in fact, that they have just announced they’re expecting their first child together. Judging by the pics they shared on Instagram, it doesn’t look like It should be much longer until they find out the gender. But the question is, will they want to share the happy news with the world? They may not, especially since they referred to the baby in a hashtag as: “#babyA²”

5 Colleen Ballinger & Erik Stocklin - Eat Away, Miranda
“I just want to eat French fries for a meal and not be judged. Is that so much to ask?” recently tweeted Colleen.
Ha! And no, it shouldn’t be too much to ask for a soon-to-be first mom. In fact, YouTube character Miranda Sings should be allowed to do anything she wants, especially since she revealed to People that pregnancy has been a lot harder than she ever thought it would be.
“I’ve been very, very sick — just grumpy and moody,” she explained, adding that she’s been dealing with “morning sickness” all day. “I’m due New Year’s Day, but I’m hoping it comes this year rather than next. I already feel like I’ve been pregnant for seven years!”
4 Josh Peck & Paige O'Brien - The Drama Begins
You may know Josh Peck as the latter part of the famous Drake & Josh TV show that ran from 2004-2007 on Nickelodeon. Although the show has long ended, it’s still fun to know that the actors of yesteryear are now all grown up and starting families of their own.
And although Drake & Josh is long done with, Josh Peck has fortunately not fallen into the abyss of forgotten actors and has instead settled down with a beautiful film editor by the name of Paige O’Brien.
What’s not so fortunate is the fact that Josh’s former other half, Drake, appeared to have gotten snubbed. In response to Josh’s baby announcement, Hollywood Life reported that Drake Bell tweeted and then deleted, “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear…I’ll miss you brotha.” Ouch!
3 Taylor & Natalie Hanson - The Band Is Expanding Again
Remember the Hanson brothers? Not only are they still performing but all three brothers are officially off the market and with kids of their own! In fact, the middle brother out of the trio, Taylor Hanson, recently announced that his already-large family is growing once more as they are expecting their sixth child!
To make their announcement, Taylor posted a cute picture of their family, along with the caption: “What’s better than being a dad of five? Perhaps being a dad of six. Baby Hanson coming in December and we are over the moon.”
Very cute, indeed! Interestingly, Isaac Hanson has three kids, while Zac has four, which means they must have some pretty crazy Christmases!

Is this just the hormones talking? Former One Tree Hill star Jana Kramer recently admitted that she’s a “total love addict.”
“Like, I need to go to meetings. We were both love addicts attracting each other … We were both unhealthy, which is why we moved so fast,” she explained, according to US Magazine.
“If you don’t tell me you love me within two weeks, if I didn’t make you fall in love with me in a couple weeks, I was out,” she added.
But that’s not all. She also revealed that although her husband Mike Caussing strayed from their marriage after the birth of their first daughter, she decided to give the relationship another go and work things out with him… hence, the love addict comment as well as baby #2 on the way in November 2018.
