Wonder Baby recommends to not fall for the temptation of starting the potty training too early, as it is only going to backfire. The AAP adds that children that are potty trained by the age of 18 months tend to not get the hang of it until they are 4 years


The ideal age to teach a child how to use the bathroom is anywhere from the age of 2 to 3 years old.
