Almost all of the members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have children now (the only exception being Kendall Jenner), but Khloé Kardashian and her younger sibling, Kylie Jenner, were the most recent two women to give birth. It was also the first time for both of them.

The new mamas have really embraced motherhood, and it’s clear from the interviews they’ve given, and the photos they share on social media, that their little girls, True Thompson, and Stormi Webster, are their whole world. Motherhood has the ability to change a woman in ways she never expected, and although Kylie doesn’t think it’s altered her life that much, she is loving the experience and has found a new confidence. She’s also not afraid to get her perfectly manicured nails messy and is now a pro when it comes to diaper changing.

Khloé, on the other hand, has already established she has a different parenting style to her sister (she is more like Kim Kardashian) but she does share some similarities with Kylie. These include the obvious love they have for their children, but also the feelings of mom guilt, and the lessons they have learned along the way. Below are 10 things we’ve learned about parenting from Kylie Jenner, and 10 we’ve learned from her big sister, Khloé Kardashian.

Let's start with the 10 lessons we learned from Kylie...

20 Nothing Is Too Gross Or Too Hard When It Comes To Having Kids

Kylie Jenner may be one of the most elegant women around, and she has created a beauty empire for herself, but when it comes to changing diapers, she’s willing to get her perfectly-manicured nails messy. And in an interview with ES Magazine, Jenner reminded everyone that after becoming a mom you don't even bat an eye over all the things that may have made your stomach turn before.

She spoke about how her life has changed since motherhood, saying, "I feel like it’s only gotten better. You’re less selfish -- and I actually enjoy changing diapers. It’s really satisfying. To make her clean again. And I don’t know, the whole thing is really...it’s like such an amazing experience."

19 Like Everything, Motherhood Has Its Ups And Downs

Kylie Jenner may be a young mom, but she has really embraced motherhood and all that it entails, and there are a lot of things we have learned about her since she gave birth to Stormi.

Speaking of how motherhood has changed her, she told ES Magazine, "I’m learning so much more about myself and life, and it’s been such a great experience.” But she also acknowledged that being a mother is not always smooth sailing.

“Obviously, it's not all a breeze…” she said. “Of course, there’s hard times and stuff...even in the beginning, just not sleeping, the nights, like, baby blues...and all the ups and downs."

18 It’s OK To Wait Until You’re Ready To Announce Your Pregnancy On Your Own Terms

Considering the Kardashian-Jenner clan live their life in the limelight and have made the decision to open so much of it up to the public, with both social media and their popular reality TV show, Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy announcement was unexpected. Or rather, her lack of pregnancy announcement, because she waited until after she gave birth to her daughter before telling anyone.

She later took to social media and spoke of her pregnancy, calling it “the most beautiful, empowering, and life-changing experience." But her decision to not speak up before reminds moms that there is no “right” time to announce your pregnancy, and you can do it whenever you feel ready.

17 Becoming A Mama Gives You A Newfound Confidence

You would think that being the famous individual that she is, Kylie Jenner wouldn’t need any help with confidence. After all, photoshoots are second nature to her, and she is used to having people keep constant tabs on her. But there is a confidence that comes with motherhood, a way in which a woman can become self-assured and more accepting of who she is as a person, and Jenner has experienced this.

In an interview with Vogue Australia, she said, “I feel like having a daughter, and thinking about beauty in the future, has definitely changed me, and I feel like it has made me love myself more and accept everything about me.”

16 You Can Never Be Too Careful When It Comes To Your Child’s Safety

Kylie Jenner has made the decision to share photos of Stormi on her social media account, but when she felt uncomfortable she also decided to stop sharing photos for a while. When she posted a cropped photo of herself holding her daughter, fans questioned why she cut out Stormi, to which she replied, “Yeah I cut my baby out. I’m not sharing photos of my girl right now.”

Jenner also takes safety seriously at her home, to ensure that both she (and now her child) are protected from strangers. She has previously spoken about her home security on Snapchat, and although it was an amusing story about how her own security guard didn’t recognize her, it’s also a detail to be noted about her 24/7 protection.

15 It’s Important To Remember To Praise Your Partner For All They Do

Kylie Jenner shares her daughter with her boyfriend, Travis Scott, and she has made it known that she values him not only as the man in her life but also as a father to their daughter. She has posted several photos of Scott and Stormi on social media, but she has also praised his parenting.

During a Q&A with fans (via Page Six), she said her boyfriend and their daughter have “this crazy connection.” Adding, “She’s definitely a daddy’s girl. It’s cute to watch. When dad’s around, I’m not even there. It’s like she doesn’t even see me, but it’s cool. Whatever.”

14 It Never Really Gets Easier Leaving For Work

Almost all moms experience mom guilt, and although it can happen for a number of different reasons, one of the common causes is when a woman has to leave her child to work. Kylie Jenner is no different in this regard, and she also doesn't like to leave her little girl.

In an interview with ES Magazine, she said, “Even when I’m here it was so hard to leave this morning. I’m like, 'I’ll be right back, I’m so sorry, I have to leave!' and she doesn’t even know what’s going on. I think about her all the time, anywhere I am. I would rather be with her or wish she can come everywhere.”

13 It’s Totally Normal To Write Down Future Children’s Names You Like

Kylie Jenner has admitted she wants another child, saying during a Q&A with fans (via Page Six), “I want another baby, but when is the question.” Her comment gives no clue as to when baby No. 2 will be on the way, but it does suggest she’s not quite ready to expand her family just yet.

Still, that doesn’t mean she can’t keep a list of the baby names she likes. And, as moms, we all know it's never too early to be on the lookout for a good name. Jenner called into her best friend, Jordyn Woods’ radio show (before she was even a mom), and told her, "I keep a list in my phone of names I like for my future kids. But they're my secrets for now!”

12 Not Everyone Feels Completely Different After Becoming A Mom

Kylie Jenner’s interview with ES Magazine is a fantastic source of information about her feelings regarding motherhood, and how her perspective has changed since she welcomed her daughter into the world. Another thing we learned about her from this interview was how she has not completely changed.

"Everyone says you change completely when you become a mom, but I really feel the same, just better,” she said. Some women experience the complete opposite and feel as though everything in their lives has life has changed. But Jenner’s comments remind us that every journey into motherhood is different, and thus so are all feelings and changes.

11 It’s Helpful To Be Up To Date With The Latest Tech

Technology can be an incredibly useful tool, and it can make life as a mom, especially as a new mom, so much more convenient. Kylie Jenner’s parenting seems to involve a lot of modern technology, and Kim Kardashian shared that she has been asking her little sister for parenting advice for this very reason.

In an interview with E! News, Kardashian was asked which sister she has turned to for advice, and she had this to say on the subject: “Lately, it's been Kylie. Kylie is up on all the new gadgets and the new baby stuff.”

And here are the 10 things we learned from Khloe...

10 Sometimes It’s Worth Listening To The Advice Of Your Loved Ones

Khloé Kardashian comes from a large family, and her two older sisters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as her brother, Rob, already had children before she gave birth to her little one.

Khloé is the first to admit that she doesn’t really like listening to other people, but, sometimes, it helps to ask your siblings for advice (and actually listen). On her Khloé With A K website, she wrote, "Even though I'm not big on taking advice — I don't believe there's only one-way-or-the-highway and we all have to adapt into our own routines — it's so comforting to know that I have sisters whom I can ask about anything that may come up. Just by observing them as moms, I've already learned so much."

9 But At The End Of The Day, Also To Do Things Your Own Way

But Khloé also reminds us that although it doesn’t hurt to listen to those who are close to you, and you can learn valuable information, you don’t always have to do what others say. Being a parent is something that is unique in that no two children and no two experiences are the same. So, at the end of the day, you have to do things your way.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel (via People), Khloé explained how Kourtney gives her a lot of advice, adding, “I think it’s so sweet but I don’t want to do some of that stuff.” And that comment right there is a valuable lesson because, at the end of the day, it’s your child and your rules.

8 It’s Important To Teach Your Little One To Swim From Early On

Khloé Kardashian and boyfriend Tristan Thompson wanted to teach their daughter an important safety lesson from early on; how to swim. When True was just a 5 months old, Kardashian wrote about how she “loved” her swimming classes, and had no worry at her young age.

“We recently did a Mommy, Daddy and Me class and it was really fun and special,” she explained. “We learned some tips about what to do with Baby True when we swim with her. She's also getting used to dunking under the water, which she enjoys…”

7 Everyone, Even Celebrities, Have Working Mom Guilt

As mentioned above, Kylie Jenner finds it a real struggle to be away from her baby daughter, and so does Khloé Kardashian -- which once again reinforces that these feelings are extremely common, and will perhaps provide comfort to some moms.

Prior to returning to work, Kardashian admitted she was “nervous,” and according to Entertainment Tonight, in response to a fan on social media, Kardashian spoke about experiencing mom guilt. She wrote, “It’s a real thing. You feel guilty at all times if you have to leave her side. Or really for anything.”

6 Breastfeeding Has A Lot Of Challenges And Not Everyone Is Able To Do It

Breastfeeding versus bottle feeding is a topic that causes much discussion, with women divided on what is right. The thing is, there is no one right way to feed your child, this is a personal choice. And Khloé Kardashian is taking the stigma away from bottle feeding about being so honest about her own struggles with breastfeeding.

She told fans on social media that despite trying for “for weeks and weeks," she was unable to breastfeed. "I guess due to stress my milk was not coming in,” she explained. “I tried and I just couldn’t give her enough. So I had to go to formula."

She also tweeted to a fan, writing, “it was really hard for me to stop (emotionally) but it wasn’t working for my body. Sadly.”

5 Khloé’s Got A Similar Parenting Style To Her Sister Kim Kardashian

In an interview with E! News, Kim Kardashian commented on how despite asking Kylie Jenner for advice on the latest baby gadgets, it was Khloé Kardashian who she had “the most similar parenting style” too.

Although the similarities that these two women have is not immediately clear, Khloé obviously agrees with a lot of what her sister does, because even before giving birth, she wrote on her app (via Elite Daily) about which sister she expected she would be most like. And when it comes to parenting, she wrote, "The sister I think my parenting style will be most similar to is: Kimberly.”

4  And Her Approach Is Very Different To Kylie’s

Khloé has made two things clear when speaking about motherhood; she intends to figure out what works for her and not take on all the advice that her sisters give her, but also, she will parent the most like Kim Kardashian West.

“Khloé has really only been asking Kim for advice,” an insider told People. “She agrees more with Kim’s parenting style than Kourtney’s.” But her parenting approach also differs from her younger sister, Kylie Jenner. The reason for this, the insider explained, is because, “[Khloé]’s also older and more mature than Kylie so her approach will be different than a very young mom.”

3 You Will Learn That You Can Function Like A Superstar With Almost No Energy

Women hear it all the time; you will be completely exhausted when you have a newborn. Yet, despite hearing it, the reality never really sinks in until there is a crying baby in your life without a sleep schedule, demanding constant attention.

Still, moms are a bit like superheroes and are able to function, and care for their little one, with minimal sleep. Khloé Kardashian discussed this on the Khloé With A K website, writing that one of the most unexpected things about parenting was “no matter how tired you are, you find this energy and patience for your child.”

2 Don’t Freak Out About Giving Birth Because You’ve Got This

Giving birth, especially the first time around, can be a worrisome thought. Although a woman is excited to meet her unborn child, the whole delivery process is not exactly a walk in the park. It’s completely normal to feel a bit apprehensive about everything, but if Khloé Kardashian has taught us anything about motherhood, it’s that there’s no need to freak out because you’ve got this.

On the Khloé With A K website, she wrote, “I don’t feel like I need to prepare for my birth by freaking myself out. I’ve seen over eight births live and in person. Women were made to do this! It’s a very natural experience…”

1 Sometimes Mama Knows Best

If you want to learn from another woman on what to do (or maybe in some instances what not to do) when it comes to raising a child, then your own mother may be a good start. At least, that’s the way Khloé Kardashian feels about her mama, Kris Jenner.

Over the years, she has learned so much from her mother, something which she discussed on her website. She wrote, “There's absolutely no way I could pick just one parenting technique I've learned from my mom. She's just so incredible and has taught me so much.” Although there is something she wants to pass down from her late father, and that is “unconditional love.”
